Knowledge about this course
Sufism can be described in very-easy
words. Sufism is religion of love. Or, you may say that in Sufism, love is the
religion. Here, there is no discrimination of cast or creed. In Sufism, no one
is poor or rich. All men are equal. Sufism is the name of loving everyone,
because, when you can’t love Allah’s devotee, how can you love Him.
A man in
whose life there is no love cannot remain happy. He doesn’t like his life
fully. Remember that a person who doesn’t live fully doesn’t die happily.
Sufism teaches you how to lead your life in the right sense. It shows you how
you can make your sad life a bed of roses.
You have
become estranged from Allah, who is the Sun of happiness, whose rays can remove
the darkness, whose rays can remove the darkness of your agonies, completely.
Only a sufi can tell you about the path on which you can get closer to Allah.
Allah has always been close to you; you may say that He is wit you since the
beginning of Life. It is only that you have moved away from Him. After entering
away from Allah, despite being so close to Him. Sufism is the bridge through
which you can close the gap between Allah and you.
Meditation:
In Sufism, various types of meditations are mandatory. Due to this,
you realize your true strength; you also become aware of the wealth that Allah
has packed in you. Owing to this, mankind is of a prime importance throughout
the Universe. There is sufi saying that, when you recognize yourself you
recognize Allah. Through meditation, you are introduced to yourself. To
recognize yourself is , itself, a recognition of Allah.
A meditator
is like a pregnant woman. Just as a pregnant woman gives birth to a new-born,
after a process of nine months, similarly, a meditator gives birth to someone
after a lengthy process. The only difference between them is that pregnant
woman gives birth to someone else. After a mediatation, a meditator himself is
born, and a new life comes into existence. In this, there is nothing but joy
and peace. There is a great calmness.
Those who
travel on the roads of meditation can live their lives correctly and wholly. A
great calmness comes into their lives. The race that is outside stops. They
live their lives in such a way that, when their end comes near, they have no
desire left within them. They take in the pleasures of life and death happily.
